CASTING -- Independent Feature Film
Casting Breakdown
Shoot Date(s): one day during the second half of March, between March 10-March 30.
Role 3: no pay; meals provided, and possibly transportation
Time: If you want to participate, you can expect to dedicate approximately 2 to 3 hours of your time, which would include travel to and from set. This is a very short scene and should only take 1 or 2 hours to film on location. The rest of the time is portioned for travel and set up.
Shoot Location: around Tucson, AZ
Project Description:
This is an experimental narrative film that seeks to explore and transform problematic cultural relativism in the form of a comedic, mytho-poetic epic. It orchestrates a set of densely nested themes including intimacy, migration and cosmology. Please email me and I will provide more information!
1) FAMILY MEMBERS -- MALE OR FEMALE, ALL AGES (NON-SPEAKING)
We are looking for 3-10 individuals to attend our funeral as extended family members of the Great Uncle during his funeral.
2) FAMILY MEMBERS WOMEN -- FEMALE, AGE 50+ (SPEAKING)
We would like 2-3 older women who would play extended family members of the Great Uncle during his funeral. This role is given speaking lines which we would provide the form of recordings of Cantonese; don't worry about fluency.
