A short film being made in hopes of going to Sundance Film Festival.

CASTING FOR ACTORS!! Because of Benny is a short, dramatic film that deals with love and loss. EVERY role is EXTREMELY important and crucial to the production of this film. Below you will find a list of the roles (including a brief description) we will be casting for:

Little Benny (4-5): Young male, brown or blondish-brown hair, MUST BE ABLE TO EXPRESS EMOTIONS OF LOSS (crying, whimpering, etc.), and a youthful voice. Parent involvement is required during casting call/on set and is strictly enforced.

Youth Benny (8): [Same description as Young Benny, but with slightly older features]. Must look like he is eight.

Sally (12): Female, attractive, brown hair

Teen Sally (16): Female, attractive, brown hair

Andy (17-22): Male, tall (preferably 6'0''-6'3''), mature for his age but looks young, sweet demeanor, knows how to take control of a situation

Older Andy (30s): Male, boyfriend of Sally, older version of Andy

Older Sally (30s): Female, brown hair, thin, good mother, girlfriend of Andy

Benny's Father (40s): Male, athletic build, medium height, likeable, kind smile, brown or blonde hair, caucasian

Benny's Mother (Early 40s): Female, antagonist, suffers from post-dramatic stress, has Hypothyroidism, thin/average build, caucasian

Doctor (30-older): Male, must look the part of a Doctor

Nurses (20-older): Male or female, able to look the part

AUDITIONS will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 12pm-5pm in the Banquet Room, located at La Encantada's NORTH Restaurant: 2995 E Skyline Drive Tucson Arizona 85718 (Tel: 520-299-1600)

Actors auditioning will be expected to come prepared to perform a SHORT, DRAMATIC MONOLOGUE (from a theatrical production or film). Auditions will be recorded.
