Lonely Street Productions to Hold Auditions

Lonely Street Productions, one of the nation's premier providers of nostalgia-based concert entertainment, is casting performers (singers/actors) and musicians (guitar/bass/drums/piano/horn players) for their 2013-14 Season. Performances tour mostly in Arizona, but also throughout the southwest US- upcoming productions include multiple genres with an emphasis on rock, pop, country and jazz from the 1950's, 60's and 70's. 

Seeking: Male and female vocalists age 18-40 with professional music or theatre experience. Top-notch vocals and excellent stage presence are a must; the ability to move well and/or play an instrument will also be strongly considered.

Seeking:  Instrumentalists age 18-55 with professional music experience; excellent stage presence and the ability to learn quickly are a must, sight reading ability is a strong plus.

Auditions will be held by appointment only on Tuesday, April 9th at the office of Lonely Street Productions in downtown Tucson.

VOCALISTS:  To schedule an appointment, please email a headshot or recent photo with a resume or a brief description of musical experience to tthayer@lonelystreet.com.  Please prepare a rock/pop/standard song from the 1950's or 60's; you may also be asked to perform a second selection from a genre of your choosing. Bring sheet music, an accompanist will be provided (pre-recorded tracks or backing music will not be considered). You are also welcome to accompany yourself, a piano and a guitar amplifier will be available.

INSTRUMENTALISTS:  To schedule an appointment, please send a Vitae, Resume', or any list of previous experience to tthayer@lonelystreet.com.  Please prepare something that shows your playing abilities and be prepared to sight read and/or play/jam with our musical director.  A piano and drum kit will be available, as well as guitar and bass amplifier.
