Southern Arizona's faith-based, family-friendly live theatre

announces AUDITIONS for




a musical comedy melodrama based on the biblical book of Esther

with book & lyrics by Jeannette Clift-George

and music by Steven Jones


Waypoint Theatre Company, a formally auditioned, all-volunteer company of Christian believer theatre artists

will be holding auditions by appointment only Feb. 18-22, 2013.


Production dates for Myrtle are  April 11-14, 16, 18-21, 2013

at Waypoint's performing venue

Atria Bell Court Gardens' Academy Hall Theatre, 6653 E. Carondelet Drive, Tucson, AZ  85710 

(ne of St. Joseph's Medical Center)


Rehearsals on east side and begin Feb. 23, 2013


NEEDED, 2 male Christian musical theatre artists:


Male (30s-late 60s), baritone/low tenor for Morton Key (hero, and older ward of Myrtle)


Male (18-30s), tenor  Comic Master of Ceremonies (some dancing)


Myrtle features a small, musical cast of 6

Auditions require 16 bars music (CD accompaniment),

1-2 minute comedy monologue,  reading from script
(script provided to each auditioner prior to audition).
