About “Elephant’s Graveyard”

Winner of the 2008 Keene Prize for Literature, “Elephant’s Graveyard,” written by George Brant, is based on the sensationalized true story of Mary the Elephant’s tragic encounter with the townspeople of Erwin, Tennessee. A beautifully written and poignant exploration of American obsession with violence and spectacle, “Elephant’s Graveyard” will be an inspiration for “Summer on Stage” participants and audiences alike.

About “In Your Eyes”

“In Your Eyes” is a new, never-before-seen musical from Tony Award-winning duo Brian Yorkey and Tom Kitt. Written before “Next to Normal” exploded on Broadway, “In Your Eyes” tells the story of high school students attempting to make sense of the chaos that ensues when a plot of gun violence is suspected at their school. They end up learning more about themselves and their peers than they anticipated in this honest and touching new musical.
