Miss Nelson can't control her crazy classroom because she's just too nice. But when she disappears, her replacement is the hard-as-nails, detention-loving, recess-canceling, homework-overloading substitute teacher Viola Swamp! With the Big Test approaching, the kids suddenly realize how much they miss Miss Nelson and they'll do anything--including hiring a private eye--to solve the mystery of her disappearance and bring her back.

Samantha Cormier (Director) - After receiving a BFA in Theatre at the University of Arizona, Samantha has performed in, choreographed, designed or directed over 50 productions. She currently enjoys teaching with Studio Connections, Civano Elementary, and LTW. She was also the resident choreographer for Rendondo Music Theatre. Favorite shows that she directed include A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD, YOU'RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN, GODSPELL, HONK!, NUNSENSE, THE WIZARD OF OZ, KITTY KITTY KITTY, BYE BYE BIRDIE, and CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY. Favorite roles include BAREFOOT IN THE PARK (Corrie), ONCE UPON A MATTRESS (Winifred), A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM (Helena) TICK,TICK...BOOM!(Susan), THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW (Columbia--MAC Award nomination, Best Actress), THE ODD COUPLE:FEMALE VERSION(Olive), CHICAGO (Go to Hell Kitty), COLLECTED STORIES (Lisa), CABARET (Sally Bowles) and NUNSENSE! (Sister Mary Amnesia). Next stop for Samantha is a national tour with Missoula Children's Theatre. Check out samanthacormier.com for more info!

Lisa Bodden (Kimberly) is tickled pink to be in this production with such a talented director and cast. As a native Arizonan, she enjoys the desert landscape and artistic community in Tucson. For the last thirteen years, she has been teaching and directing at St. Gregory School and LTW's Summer Camps. When not in the classroom, she is often found onstage or in front of the camera. Other favorite roles at LTW include Molly in THE MOUSETRAP and Phoebe in AS YOU LIKE IT.

Evan Cipra (Elvis) is excited for his debut at LTW. He is in the 2013 class at Empire High School. He has been involved with Empire's theatre department over the last four years where he helped design and build sets, and he acted in several productions. Some of his favorite roles include Mayor Shinn in MUSIC MAN, Little John in ROBIN HOOD, and Arthur Roeder in RADIUM GIRLS.

Kyle Everly (George Jorgenson, Jr) is delighted to return to the LTW stage. The home-schooled senior made his debut here as Nick Burns in A THOUSAND CLOWNS. However, Kyle is no stranger to show business. Some of his favorite credits include the Scarecrow from THE WIZARD OF OZ, Frog in A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD and, most recently, Jesus in GODSPELL. Kyle intends to study computer engineering at UA next year but hopes to continue to pursue the pleasure of acting as well.

Chelsea Force (Phoebe) - Chelsea lives in Tucson and currently attends UA. Chelsea performed in ATT's THUMBELINA as the Mole and Mother, and she was TweedleDum in ALICE IN WONDERLAND. She is excited to return to the stage, once again under the direction of Samantha Cormier, and she is especially thrilled to act alongside her high school director, Richard Gremel. Enjoy the show, and come back soon!

Joshua Furtado (Raymond) is enjoying his debut performance at LTW! Born and raised in Tucson, he's happy to finally perform at LTW. Most recently he was in ATC's play readings of TORTILLA CURTAIN and GHETTO BABYLON, Tucson High's ALL MY SONS, and Pima's ALL SHOOK UP and JUNGLE BOOK. He's leaving for LA early September to pursue a career in film. He'd love to thank his parents, for their unending support.

Amanda Gremel (Lavita) - is the Director of ATT at LTW, and she just accepted the position of LTW’s Director of Education as well. She was last seen as Mother Goose in MOTHER GOOSE UNPLUCKED! Some of her favorite roles include The Sheriff of Notingham from ROBIN HOOD, Merlina from KING ARTHUR, and The Golden Goose from JACK AND THE BEANSTALK.

Richard Gremel (Principal Humleker/Detective McSmogg) - Richard is happy to be back on the ATT stage. He was last seen as the Mad Hatter in ALICE IN WONDERLAND. He was also in JACK AND THE BEANSTALK (the Giant), THREE BAD WOLVES (B.B. Wolfington) and ROBIN HOOD (Robin Hood).  Richard is also a playwright for ATT and writes 1 or 2 plays a year. He received a BFA in theatre education from the University of Arizona and is currently the theatre teacher at Empire High School.

Leslie J. Miller (Miss Nelson/Miss Viola Swamp) - is darn happy to be appearing in this ATT production. She wrote and directed last year’s ATT production of ALICE IN WONDERLAND. The very next thing she is really really excited about is writing and directing the next ATT production called THE PRINCESS WHO COULDN’T SMILE about a space princess, so make plans to come back to see it!  When Leslie isn’t doing theatre she is hanging out with her super awesome husband Steve and their two amazing dogs Max & Mabel. She has a pretty great life and she doesn’t mind saying so herself!

Emilio Zweig (Morris aka “Mouse”) - has performed with Etcetera at LTW in KIMBERLY AKIMBO (MAC Award Nomination, Best Comedy), THE BOOK OF LIZ and PSYCHO BEACH PARTY. A recent graduate of Tucson High Magnet School for the Performing Arts, Emilio has previously appeared with Winding Road Theater Ensemble (ARMOR), Borderlands Theatre (THE PASTORELA) and LTW’s mainstage productions of THE CHOSEN, and DEATH AND THE MAIDEN. He also frequently works on stage and behind the scenes with All Together Theatre.
