A HERO’S SALUTE – MEMORIAL DAY TRIBUTE
Join us Sunday, May 26th at 3 PM as Arts Express honors the brave men and women from the Tucson Community who have served, as well as those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. A Hero’s Salute will be presented in Crowder Hall on the University of Arizona campus. This uplifting and inspirational Memorial Day tribute will recognize our military, first responders, public servants, volunteers, and others who have placed themselves before others.
Reserved tickets for A Hero’s Salute are available for $20 per person. Reserved seats are in the front third of the house. General seating tickets are free (suggested donation $10/person). Tickets are required for guaranteed seating. Request your tickets online at: www.arts-express.org. Tickets are also available by calling 520-319-0400. Those attending without a ticket will be seated as space is available.
The program will feature the Arts Express Choir and Brass Quintet, directed by Dr. David Ashcraft, Co-Artistic Director of Arts Express, and will include several uplifting Memorial Day messages.
HONOR THE HEROES IN YOUR LIFE!
This year we are offering a unique way to honor the heroes in your life, called the My Hero Commemorative Tribute. Your written tribute (100 characters or less) will be featured in the program insert for A Hero’s Salute. Contact Arts Express at 319-0400 for more information.
We also welcome photos of your military heroes, a selection of which will be used in the slide show during the A Hero’s Salute performance. We will need Name, Military Branch, Rank, Approximate Date and Location of photo. You can submit them by email to info@arts-express.org, on the website (www.arts-express.org/a-heroes-salute) or on the Arts Express Facebook page. We will do our best to use all the photos we receive (subject to photo quality).
