Auditions for The Lady and The Clarinet by Michael Cristofer, directed by Avilynn Pwyll and presented by TADA for the benefit of the new Alliance Performance Center of Tucson, will be held Saturday morning Sept. 7 between 9am and 11am at the Comedy Playhouse, 3620 N. 1^st Ave, 85719. Auditions will be 'cold' reading, although sides will be emailed to you.  Roles open are: Paul, age range 22 to 25 and George, age range 40-50. Paul is kind, awkward, handsome in a quirky way, and way out of his league with the precocious Luba  (Luba is in her 40s and remembering the three greatest loves of her life, portraying herself at 16, 30s and 40s). George is a wealthy, retired businessman, romantic, sensual and happy to cook and keep house. The play does contain adult language and themes. Performance dates are December 6^th, 7^th, 13^th and 14^th, closing Friday December 20^th.
