THE MAGIC OF THE MOVING IMAGE

Learn the craft of visual storytelling from a highly experienced professional.

A film-making workshop, THE MAGIC OF THE MOVING IMAGE, conducted by production designer Gene Rudolf will be hosted by Gangplank Tucson at its downtown facility. Gene’s feature film credits include Raging Bull, Trading Places, The Right Stuff, Diner, The Great Gatsby (1974), Against All Odds, The Taking Of Pelham One-Two Three (1974). His selected filmography can be accessed on iMDB.

The workshop will run for eight consecutive Saturday afternoons (1:00 PM to 5:00 PM) and will be held at Gangplank Tucson, 17 E. Pennington St. Downtown Tucson, beginning October 5th. Participants will be expected to submit a brief project each week that will be constructively discussed by the workshop group.

All skill levels are welcome. The workshop will be adjusted to accommodate any degree of proficiency. Enrollment is limited to twenty-four students. Each must have access to a video recording device. The fee for the eight session workshop is $110.00. A ten percent discount is available for teachers, students, early enrollment, or membership in any film group.
