Dear Rialto Supporters and Patrons,

Your non-profit Rialto Theatre had an amazing 2013, which we spent entertaining the Tucson community and making the Theatre better than ever. We put on nearly 200 events at the Rialto and other great venues like the Fox and AVA at Casino Del Sol including acts like Buddy Guy, Modest Mouse, Rodriguez, and the xx. We partnered with dozens of local and national organizations to promote live music in our area. And the great news is that 2014 promises to be even bigger and better -- we think that Bill Walton said it best during last night's Arizona/Oregon basketball broadcast on ESPN: "Unbelievable place down there, so many of our favorites have played, they've revitalized it... it's just incredibly uplifting and a spiritual temple and mecca."
See the video here.

We couldn't have done it without your support, which is absolutely crucial to the continued success and growth of our historic Theatre. Now, we are hotly anticipating the 2nd Annual Rialto Gala: A Red Letter Event, next Saturday, February 15th, and we want you (YES! YOU!) to be a part of it.

Our Red Letter Gala will feature smash nostalgic hits performed live by 60s Bandstand, as well as music by guitarist Gabriel Ayala and cabaret by Black Cherry Burlesque.

KOLD-TV anchor Dan Marries will be your host during our live and silent auctions, which include items like a signed University of Arizona basketball, two-night stays at Loews Ventana Canyon and Hacienda Del Sol, and specialty gift baskets galore. Tucson mayor Jonathan Rothschild will be on hand, and we'll offer an incredible array of delicious food provided by more than a dozen downtown and nearby restaurants. We also have exciting news about some near-future additions to the Rialto's operation that we'll be sharing with Gala guests.

On a personal note, being involved with the Rialto Theatre for nearly 10 years has been full of tremendous challenges but also thrills, joy, and some of the best moments of live performance I've ever seen. I want to share that excitement with whomever I can. With our Gala less than 10 days away, I ask that you join me in celebrating and supporting live music in Tucson by attending.

On behalf of our outstanding Board of Directors and staff, I thank you for your support. Sincerely,

Curtis McCrary
