**AUDITION NOTICE**

Not Burnt Out Just Unscrewed (NBOJU) is holding auditions for new permanent troupe members on Saturday, March 1 from 2-5pm at Unscrewed Theater, 3244 E Speedway Blvd. Tucson AZ 85716 

Founded in 2002, Not Burnt Out Just Unscrewed has consistently brought its brand of improv comedy to the best (and not-so-best) venues in Tucson. After 11 short years as a travelling troupe and a successful fundraiser last November, we have opened our permanent performance home and are looking to expand our player roster. 

Working without a script, we create fast paced games and scenes based on audience participation and suggestions, similar to “Whose Line Is It Anyway.” 

We are looking for team players who know and have a passion for improv. 

Personalities that have fun and take comedy very seriously! We strive to create a sense of community and foster volunteerism in our cast. That’s a nice way to say we are a 501(c)(3) and no one’s getting paid! 

Previous improv performance experience and education is strongly suggested. Availability on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights is required. 

Our auditions are based on many of the basic improvisational fundamentals. We will be doing basic short form game & scene work in groups and in pairs. 

We are looking for listening, agreement, characters, teamwork, emotional connections and avoiding going for a joke.

Auditions will take place in groups. Audition space is limited to 12 participants, so please call (520) 861-2986 before Thursday, Feb. 27 to reserve your spot.
