TUCSON, February 28, 2014 – SwanRise Productions is pleased to announce that it will once again bring music to the gardens of Tohono Chul Park this spring.  The concert series, titled Rhythm Nights at Tohono Chul Park, features three distinct concerts this April. 

On Friday, April 4, The Ladies of Soul: From Aretha to Adele will showcase the very best of the women of R&B soulfully sung by Katherine Byrnes.

On Friday, April 11^th, Big Band: From Beatles to Bop will feature Mike Crotty and Deater O’Neill with Big Band Express.  This will be a two part night of Mike’s original compositions for big band  followed by a set of his superb  arrangements of standards sung by Deater O’Neill.  Mike Crotty has been the composer and arranger for hundreds of albums for artists such as Clark Terry, Billy Taylor, Mel Lewis and Dizzy Gillespie.) 

The final concert of the season will take place on Friday, April 25.  A Salute to Burt Bacharach will highlight the greatest hits of Burt Bacharach performed with the amazing vocal stylings of Julie Anne and a superb band led by Eric Westfall.

All concerts begins at 7:00 PM and doors will open at 6:00 PM.  Food and beverages are available for purchase at the concert.
