Casting Film "Hoodies" - University of Arizona 
[Independent/Student Short Film] 

Junior BFA University of Arizona student is casting for the film "Hoodies" Directed by Joe Chavez and David Gaxiola. A delusional juvenile joins a malicious money-seeking crime crew to care for his young neglected sister. 

Roles: 

Derick - (lead) Male, late Teens to early 20's. A delusional fatherless troubled teen who becomes part of a gang for money and respect. He is influenced by his little sister to leave the game for the better. 

Kolton - Male, early to late 20's. A careless young dangerous man, with a poor conscience, the leader of the crew. He roams the city with his crew looking for trouble and new desperate recruits to aide in stealing from the rich. 

Valerie - Female, late 30s to early 40's. A once beautiful, careless woman with drug and alcohol problems. Mother of Derick and Lena. 

Lena - *Female child, ages of 6 to 11. A beautiful sweet little girl born into a broken family. She always wishes for her mother to be different. She looks up to Derick, but doesn't know he is in a gang. 

*Please note: Actors under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent of legal guardian during auditioning and filming.
