Auditions for a Late Night Production of
Benjamin Hill: Or the Impracticality of Thom’s Catastrophe Theory
and
Mr. Wakefield

The Next Theatre at Beowulf Alley announces auditions for a productions of two one-act plays sponsored in part by the Tucson Pima Arts Council: Benjamin Hill and Mr. Wakefield. Auditions are January 26th from 4pm to 6pm and January 28th from 8pm to 9pm at Beowulf Alley Theatre Company, 11 S 6th Ave in downtown Tucson. The cast includes:
Mr. Wakefield
Three men ages 25-35 and three women ages 23-35.
Benjamin Hill:
Four women ages 20-40
One man aged 25-40
John and Sarah must re-think their understanding of marriage after Sarah’s kinky, social side begins to affect their relationship. After a particularly cold episode with another couple, he looks into a book of Hawthorne and finds the story Wakefield.
Benjamin Hill is about a theoretical physicist who has left the University of Arizona to live in solitude in Mexico. He cannot escape his love life, his world view and as he calls it The Chaos Theory of Love.
Both productions are part of a multi-play series called Seeing Tucson presented with support from the Tucson Pima Arts Council New Works sponsorship.
Performances will run in February for Benjamin Hill and March for Mr. Wakefield. Benjamin Hill run February 22nd and 23rd and March 1st and 2nd. Mr. Wakefield runs March 15th, 16th, 22nd and 23rd. Both shows will run after 10:00 PM.
