Please note that we are still casting two roles for the film 600 Miles being shot in Tucson, Arizona.

CASTING CALL

 

Fixer Productions, LLC will be holding auditions for actors for the Tucson portion of a feature film shooting in Mexico and Southern Arizona.

 

Title:  600 Miles

 

Producer:  U.S. production company is Fixer Productions LLC, Vicky Westover, producer.

 

Director:  Gabriel Ripstein

 

Description:  600 Miles is a character-based action-drama centering on a naïve young Mexican man smuggling guns from Arizona into Mexico and a close-to-retirement ATF agent who unexpectedly find themselves on the run together.

 

Union: SAG and non-SAG actors are welcome to submit.

 

Submission Procedure: Auditions will be held Saturday, February 8 in Tucson, AZ by appointment only.    You will be contacted for an audition time if the director feels you are right for a role.  There will be no open call.

 

To be considered for one of the available roles, please follow these specific submission details:

 

•  submit headshot/resume to fixerproductionscasting@gmail.com.  .jpg and .pdf files preferred and please make certain your name is on both attachments;

 

•  please put your name and the word ‘casting’ in the subject line of your email;

 

•  if you have a link where footage of your work can be viewed, please include that.  Do not attach any video files in your email.

 

•  no phone calls, please.

 

Pay: Union and non-union actors will be paid SAG minimum daily rate. 

 

Shoot dates: Filming in the Tucson area is currently scheduled for the last two weeks in February, but is subject to change.

 

Available roles – Tucson shoot:

 

Willy.  Caucasian male, mid-forties to early fifties.  Owner of a family gun business with a stand at a second-rate gun show.  Wary of the ATF agent but generally friendly.  Must be comfortable handling guns.   One scene.

 

Wife. Caucasian. 40s or 50s. Housewifeish. Serves breakfast. One scene.
