Rose Red has just turned thirteen, and the pressure is on. What will she do to get famous like her sister Snow White? Everyone in the kingdom, from her parents to her close friend Miss Muffet, is pressuring her to get discovered. But Rose Red doesn’t want to constantly be on the front page of the Grimm Times, even if Bo Peep, Cinderella, and Goldilocks eat up the attention. In her struggle to choose between doing what everyone else wants and forging her own path, Rose Red can’t help but wonder if a girl who wants to be “just normal” can live happily ever after.
About the Artists
Amanda Gremel (Director) is the Director of the All Together Theatre and OnStage! Education programs at LTW. She was last seen in ROCKIN' AROUND THE CHRISTMAS TREE (Dancer) and in the mainstage production of BOEING BOEING (Bertha). Some of her favorite roles include MOTHER GOOSE, UNPLUCKED! (Mother Goose), ROBIN HOOD (The Sheriff of Notingham), KING ARTHUR (Merlina), and JACK AND THE BEANSTALK (The Golden Goose).
Leslie J. Miller (Director) This is Leslie's third year working with ATT, and she couldn't be happier. She wrote and directed the ATT productions of ALICE IN WONDERLAND and THE PRINCESS WHO COULDN’T SMILE. She directed JACK AND THE BEANSTALK and THE THREE BAD WOLVES, and she also appeared in the ATT production of MISS NELSON IS MISSING. Leslie studied theatre at College of Eastern Utah in the small, quirky town of Price. There she learned the basics of theatre arts that she still relies on today including the value of a good mentor and the power of true friendship.
Aaron Archuleta (Narrator/Jacob) has been a resident of Tucson since 2000 and is currently a senior attending Empire High School. He has been a part of the Empire Theatre Department for his entire high school career and has performed in shows such as ROBIN HOOD (Prince John) and HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING (Mr. Biggley). Aaron has enjoyed participating in theatre since middle school, and is excited to perform in his first show with All Together Theatre. He hopes that you all enjoy the show and the adventure it may take you on!
Jessica Armistead (Mrs. Blush) is a theatre teacher and a math teacher in the Vail School District. She is very excited for this show as it is her first time appearing on the ATT stage. Jessica directed over twenty shows at Desert Sky Middle School, including the most recent production of DISNEY'S MY SON PINOCCHIO, JR. She will be moving to Cienega High School to teach Theatre in the Fall. Jessica recently appeared in the El Rio Theatre Project's production of MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR as Mistress Page. She has also performed in MERCHANT OF VENICE, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, COMEDY OF ERRORS, and HAMLET. Jessica would like thank her wonderful family of friends who support her in every crazy endeavor. Thanks to mom, for baking a pretty nifty bun in her oven.
Emily Beaulieu (Little Miss Muffet/Goldilocks/Little Red Riding Hood) has lived in Tucson her entire life and is a graduate of Empire High School. Emily made her All Together Theatre debut last year in the touring show THE NIGHTINGALE (The Empress). She also appeared in the ROCKIN’ AROUND THE CHRISTMAS TREE (Hollyberry). Emily loves performing with ATT and is very excited to appear in this show.
Aidan Cipra (Prince Charming 1 & 2/Hansel/Jack) lives in Tucson and is a senior at Empire High School this year. This is Aidan's third show with All Together Theatre. He was Spaceboy Max (THE PRINCESS WHO COULDN'T SMILE) and Jingle (ROCKIN' AROUND THE CHRISTMAS TREE) here at LTW last year. He has also held many roles in his high school productions, including Kevin (ROBIN HOOD) and Mr. Bratt (HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING). Aidan was just cast as Danny Zuko in Empire's upcoming production of GREASE. He is excited to be here at All Together Theatre and hopes you enjoy the show!
Sophia Duclo (Rose Red) lives in Tucson and is thrilled to be performing in her fourth All Together Theatre production. Former ATT roles include Jack (JACK AND THE BEANSTALK), Alice (ALICE IN WONDERLAND), and Princess Mabelina (THE PRINCESS WHO COULDN’T SMILE) Sophia has also been a student of LTW's OnStage! Education Classes for the past 8 years. She recently finished working as an extra in a feature film in Tucson and is hoping to do more film in the future. Sophia attends middle school at St. Cyril of Alexandria. When she's not acting, Sophia is drawing, singing, painting, and spending time with her wonderful family. Enjoy the show!
Mike Saxon (Mr. Blush) is a native of Tucson and a recent UA graduate, majoring in Theatre Education. He was most recently seen in All Together Theatre's production of PETER AND THE WOLF (Barnaby). Mike continues to teach classes with LTW and is the drama teacher at Gridley Middle School. He's also no stranger to backstage work. Mike's currently stage managing PHOTOGRAPH 51 for LTW. Since 2007, he has worked with a myriad of theatre companies in Tucson including The Comedy Playhouse and School, Arizona Onstage, Studio Connections, and Beowulf Alley Theatre Co. He wishes to thank his family for their unconditional love and support.
Jeanne Torres (Snow White) is excited to work in her second ATT show. Her first show at ATT was two years ago when she played the title role in THUMBELINA. She is a student at the UA, studying Theatre and Gender and Women’s Studies, and is looking forward to getting back on her feet and acting again with this show. She appreciates all of the support from her family and friends and hopes you all enjoy the show!
Kylie Warren (Cinderella/Gretel/Villager 2) is a senior at Sabino High School and is excited to be in her first ATT show. She has done other theatre productions and is part of the Sabino Players. Besides acting, she works at Gaslight Theater, swims, and loves watching movies. She hopes everyone enjoys the show!
Tyler West (Baby Bear/Villager #3/Big Bad Wolf/Frog/Spider) lives in Tucson and is currently a Senior at Sabino High School. Next year he will attend the UA in hopes of a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting. He is very excited to return to ATT after his first production of THE PRINCESS WHO COULDN'T SMILE (Down) and hopes to return again for other shows at LTW. This year he will perform at his high school with both the Sabino Players and the Sabino Improv Club. He hopes you enjoy this show and thanks his family and friends for support.
